On December 8, at 12:27 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that truck had been on fire on Tatev-Kapan roadway.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads and one fire unit from Aghvani emergency point of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched.

"No. 2 degree” of fire complexity was announced: two more fire units and the operative group from Syunik Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA left for the scene.

It turned out that "Iveco" truck (loaded with 20 tons of liquid gas cylinder) (driver G. G.) ran off the roadway, overturned and caught fire on the 41st km of the Kapan-Goris roadway (H-45).

The fire was localized at 14:44 and extinguished at 15:05. The cabin of the truck, two front and two middle tires, and the diesel fuel in the tank were burnt. The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the cylinder block and carried out cooling actions on it. There was no liquid gas leak.
