Fire on Arno Babajanyan Street
On June 2, at 21։01 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out on the 10th floor of a semi-built, uninhabited building on Arno Babajanyan Street of Yerevan city.
Two fire units and one autoladder from the Fire and Rescue Squads, the duty group with water rescuer of Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan City Rescue Department and the operative group from Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that wooden formwork was burning on the 10th floor of the half-built building (about 1,200 square meters in total).
"1 BIS" degree of fire complexity was announced: three more fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA left for the scene.
The fire was localized at 22:12 and extinguished at 22:54. Wooden formwork (about 100 square meters) was burnt.
The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading.
