On August 6, at 07։39 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Operative Management Center that fire had broken out on Garegin Nzhdeh Street in Kapan town.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the common roof of two houses (about 220 square meters) on Garegin Nzhdeh Street.

The fire was localized at 08:32 and extinguished at 08:52. About 85 square meters of the roofs of the houses were burnt.

As a result of the prompt actions of the firefighters, it was possible to prevent the fire from spreading to the residential areas of the houses.
