On September 29, at 14:33 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that forage had been on fire in Vardenik village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 15:00 and extinguished at 18։50. About 800 bales of hay in the yard of one of the houses on the 27th street of the village were burnt.
