On May 24, at 16:50 an emergency call was received to Armavir Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out on the 4th floor of a building on Charents Street in Vagharshapat town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the kitchen of one of the apartments.

The fire was localized at 17:10 and extinguished at 17:16. The kitchen furniture (about 12 square meters) and the window were burnt. The fire was prevented from spreading to the roof.

The rescuers evacuated two citizens from the building.
