On October 17, at 18։09 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire on Tigran Mets Street in Urtsadzor village.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out on the roof of a barn (about 156 square meters) adjacent to one of the houses on Tigran Mets Street in the village.

The fire was localized at 20:05 and extinguished at 21:25. About 400 bales of hay on the roof of the barn and the wooden constructions of the roof were partially burnt.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring houses.
