Fire in the supermarket on Komitas Avenue was extinguished: summary information

On November 6, at 11։08 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out at a food stall on Komitas Avenue of Yerevan city.

By "1 BIS" degree of fire complexity, four fire units and one autoladder from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

"Number 3" call of fire complexity was announced: ten fire units and one autoladder, the operative group of the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative groups form the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue and Rescue Forces Departments, the duty group from Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision Department, the operative group of the Crisis Management National Center, the rescue group from the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department and the vehicle of the safety of gas and smoke protection of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA left for the scene.

The firefighting operations were also promptly attended by the employees of the Community Police, Patrol Service and Police Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to preliminary data, a casualty was hospitalized in a medical center.

The firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the building and a gas station in the adjacent area.

The fire was localized at 13:09 and extinguished at 13:54.

The operations at the scene were led by the Director of RS- Deputy Minister of IA, r/s Major General Kamo Tsutsulyan.
