On December 15, at 15։40 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in the storage area of a pharmacy on Zoravar Andranik Street in Yerevan city. 

“N 2” degree of the fire complexity was announced: six fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads and the duty group of the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative group from Crisis Management National Center, the duty groups of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Situation Monitoring Department and Psychological Assistance and Medical Car Provision Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in a warehouse (about 500 square meters) in the 3rd lane of Tichina Street. There were no casualties.

The fire was localized at 16:17 and extinguished at 17:00. Fertilizer (about 6 cubic meters) and a cargo elevator was partially burnt.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the remaining parts of the warehouse.
