It should be recalled that on January 5, at 08։00 information was received to the Rescue Service of MIA that the fire had broken out in the mountains nearby Aghavnavank and Dzoravank communities of Gegharkunik province.

The staff mobilization in Gegharkunik and Tavush Regional Rescue Departments of the Rescue Service of MIA was announced.

As of 14:55, 137 rescuers were involved in the response forces dispatched to the scene of the possible fire.
There were no access roads for vehicles: rescuers continued their way on foot.
