On September 4, at 13:34 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in the nearby forest of Avshen village.

Three operative group, two fire units and twelve rescuers from free shifts from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 16:57 and extinguished at 17:58. About 5,000 square meters of vegetation (2,000 square meters of forest and 3,000 square meters of forested areas)  was burnt.

The rescuers and forestry employees implemented the patrolling.
