On August 22, at 12։50 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that roof of a house had been on fire on the 3rd street of Khndzorut village.

The operative group, two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the Fire-Volunteer group of Martiros village of Vayk community of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned the fire broke out on the roof (130 square meters) of a house on the 2nd street of Khndzorut village.

The fire was localized at 13։50 and extinguished at 14։10.  The wooden constructions (about 80 square meters) of the roof were burnt and the asbestos slates were damaged.
