On August 25, at 16։57 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in the area of a factory in Jrvezh village.

By "Number 2" call of fire complexity six fire units from Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the duty groups the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue and the Rescue Forces Departments, the operative group from the Crisis Management National Center, the duty group from Medical Care, the chemists-investigator of the Biological, Nuclear and Chemical Monitoring Division from Medical Care Provision of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the warehouse and yard of the sponge factory (3000 square meters).

"Number 3" call was announced. Four more fire units from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA left for the scene.

Six more fire units from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA left for the scene.

The fire was localized at 18:17 and extinguished at 19:16. The construction materials, raw materials for construction materials and sponge were burnt. As a result of operational actions, firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to barrels full of sponge raw materials.
