On January 22, at 00:42 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in a supermarket in Haghtanak block of Yerevan city.

Four more fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department and the group on duty Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in a supermarket at 5/1 of the 1st Street in Haghtanak block.

The fire was localized at 01:10 and extinguished at 01:22. The cash register area (about 1 square meter), two display cases with food and household items (about 16 square meters) were burnt and the suspended ceiling was partially (about 20 square meters) damaged.
