On December 19, at 12։40 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in the storage area of a shopping center in Arinj village.

By "Number 2" call of fire complexity eight fire units, one autolaader from Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the duty groups of the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue and Rescue Forces Departments, the rescue group from the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department and the operative group from the Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

One citizen was hospitalized.

The fire was localized at 13։14 and extinguished at 13։25. Clothing and the roof insulation in the warehouse were burnt.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to other parts of the warehouse.
