On July 29, at 15:00 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that grassland had been on fire on Paruyr Sevak Street in Yerevan city.

Five fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, groups on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities and Medical Care Provision of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that vegetation and wooden constructions of the roof of an unexploited building were on fire across an area of about 6000 square meters.

The fire was localized at 16:24 and extinguished at 18:08. Vegetation and the wooden constructions (about 200 square meters) of the building’s roof were burnt.
