On September 12, at 15։16 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire at the end of the 6th street of Nurnus village.

Three fire units and the operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department, as well as the operative group from the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was isolated at 16:28 and extinguished at 17:10. 7 ha of vegetation, 3000 square meters of grassland were burnt and about 30 trees were damaged.

10 residents of Nurnus village participated in the firefighting.
