On August 8, at 22։09 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that lodge had been on fire near the military police of Abovyan town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in an unused wooden house in Mayakovsky village.

The fire was localized at 23:25 and extinguished at 03:44 on August 9. The house (about 30 square meters) with its belongings burned down.
