On December 17, at 05։24 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in the former cinema building in Maralik town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 06:13 and extinguished at 06:43. The wooden floor of the non-functioning building (about 40 square meters) was burnt.
