On July 8, at 18:05 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in a house on 4th Street in Khachpar village.

Two fire units and one water tanker from the Fire and Rescue Squads, as well as the operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

"No. 2 degree” of fire complexity was announced: two more fire units from Fire and Rescue Squad and the duty group of the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the operative groups of the Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA left for the scene.

The fire was localized at 19:27 and extinguished at 20:21. The roof of a house on the 4th street of the village, with its furniture (about 100 square meters) and the roofs (about 50 square meters in total) of two adjacent houses were burnt.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent houses.
