Fire in Karenis village: there were no casualties
On May 12, at 09:01 information was received to Crisis Management National Center that smoke had been noticed from a house on 2nd Street in Karenis village of Kotayk province.
Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that the fire broke out on the roof of the pavilion adjacent to the house and in the kitchen of the house.
The fire was localized at 09:21 and extinguished at 09:25. The wooden constructions of the pavilion roof (about 30 square meters) and household items in the kitchen were burnt.
The rescuers prevented the fire spreading to the rooms of the house.
