On November 11, at 16։18 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in one of the houses on 5th Street in Karenis village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out inside a semi-built building in the yard of one of the houses.

The fire was localized at 19:35 and extinguished at 22:22. About 400 bales of hay and the wooden constructions of the shed adjacent to the building (about 18 square meters) were burnt.

The spread of the fire to the adjacent house and barn was prevented.
