On November 27, at 15։13 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in a barn next to a house in Hovtun village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in a storage room in the yard of a house on 2nd Street.

The fire was localized at 16:11 and extinguished at 18:01. The storage room (about 24 square meters), about 200 bales of hay in the storage room and the wooden constructions of the roof of the adjacent barn (about 5 square meters) were burnt.

One special equipment was involved in the fire extinguishing operations.

The firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the barn and adjacent buildings.
