On January 27, at 13:28 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in the basement of a church on Abovyan Street in Gyumri town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 13:48 and extinguished at 14:12. The construction debris in the basement was burnt.
