On October 31, at 11:12 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that fire broke out in an entrance of building at 5 Minas Avetisyan street in Gyumri town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

The fire was localized at 11:22 and extinguished at 11:34. The wooden entrance door (about 2 square meters) of building 5 was burnt.

The rescuers evacuated 20 residents. C. T. (born in 1950) was provided first aid by emergency personnel and hospitalized to a medical center with symptoms of smoke inhalation.
