On April 23, at 03:38 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that building had been on fire in Gndevaz village.

Two fire units and the operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out on the roofs of a barn and a tannery adjacent to a house on 2/4 Street in the village.

The fire was localized at 05:00 and extinguished at 07:10. About 210 square meters of the 300 square meter roof and about 100 square meters of the roof were burnt.

The rescuers prevented the fire from spreading to the barn and bakery.
