On February 4,  at 13:27 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in Karahunj village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the stored fodder was burning.

The fire was localized at 14:05 and extinguished at 15:25. About 100 bales of hay were burnt.
