On September 13, at 18։30 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Operative Management Center that smoke had come from an apartment in a building on Mashtots Street in Ejmiatsin town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 19:04 and extinguished at 19:36. The kitchen (about 10 square meters) was burnt: four citizens were evacuated and firefighter prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent apartments.
