On May 31, at 02:26 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that barn had been on fire on Charents Street in Berkanush village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in a former barn (about 150 square meters) on Charents Street in Berkanush village.

The fire was localized at 03:23 and extinguished at 04:17. About 50 square meters of roof constructions and stored property were burnt.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.
