On October 26, at 11:13 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out in the defunct cultural building in Azatavan village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized at 12։15 and extinguished at 12։40. About 80 square meters of the roof (about 350 square meters) of the building was burnt.
