On December 17, at 13։44 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that house had been near the bridge in Astghadzor village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the roof of a house on Garegin Nzhdeh Street.

The fire was localized at 14:15 and extinguished at 16:56. The roof (about 126 square meters) and about 450 bales of hay were burnt.

The firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the house.
