On August 22, at 13։59 an emergency call was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that roof of a house had been on fire on Smbat Zoravar street in Ashtarak town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the garden of a house and spread to the roof of the house.

The fire was localized at 15:10 and extinguished at 15:56. The roof of the house (about 100 square meters) and the lawn (about 800 square meters) were burnt.
