On November 8, at 22:40 an emergency call was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that barn had been on fire in Ashtarak town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the barn in Varo gorge: there were no casualties and no dead animals.

The fire was localized at 23:15 and extinguished on November 9 at 00:45. About 100 square meters of the wooden constructions of the barn roof (200 square meters), the adjacent storage area (about 100 square meters) and the roof were burnt.
