On January 6, at 06:21 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in an apartment at 90 Araratyan Street of Yerevan city: there were citizens inside.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that the fire broke out in a two-storey apartment.

The fire was localized at 06:55 and extinguished at 07:50. The living room on the 1st floor of the apartment (about 30 square meters), the corridor partially (about 15 square meters) and the 2nd floor (about 40 square meters) were burnt. The dead bodies of A. B. (born in 1951) and L. H. (born in 1981) were found on the 2nd floor.
