On December 8, at 14։43 an emergency call was received to Armavir Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken in an apartment at 8a Sayat-Nova Street in Armavir town.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the bedroom of an apartment on the 1st floor of the building.

The rescuers pulled the owner F. K. (born in 1975) out of the apartment and evacuated 15 other residents from the building. F. K. died while receiving medical care on the spot.

The fire was localized at 15:14 and extinguished at 16:12. The furniture in the bedroom (about 20 square meters) was burnt.
