On April 18, at 13:43 an emergency call was received at the 112 Operational Management Center of the MIA that a fire had broken out near a barn on N. Hovhannisyan Street in Akunk village of Gegharkunik Province.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

About 40 square meters of the storage room and approximately 10 square meters of the wooden roof structures of the barn were burnt.
