On August 9, at 04։44 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that grassland had been on fire in the yard of a house on the 4th crossing of Grigoryan Street in Akhuryan village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the forage on the roof of the barn (about 72 square meters) was burning.

The fire was localized at 05:42 and extinguished at 10:56. The wooden constructions (about 18 square meters) of the roof of the barn and accumulated about 1020 bales of hay were burnt.

One tractor and one truck were involved in the fire extinguishing activities.
