On June 8, at 22:20 an emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that house had been on fire in Akhuryan village.

One fire unit and one water tanker from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the roof (about 300 square meters) a house on Mher Mkrtchyan Street in the village. There were no casualties.

The fire was localized at 23:26 and extinguished on June 9 at 00:07. About 250 square meters of the roof of the house was burnt.

The firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the house and the rest of the roof.
