On May 1, at 22:34 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that fire had broken out in a storage room on Shirak Street of Yerevan city.

By “N 2” complexity fire call six fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads and the groups on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department and Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

Two more fire units dispatched to the scene.

The fire was localized on May 2, at 00:22 and extinguished at 04:18. Laminate, door and floor trimmings were burnt.

Deputy Director of the MIA Rescue Service, r/s Colonel Artur Vardanyan, was present at the scene.
