On November 29, at 19:07 information was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that a fire had broken out on the territory of a production building of the Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine.

By “N 2” degree of the fire complexity six fire units and two operative groups from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that fire broke out in a semi-demolished section of an unexploited area of the Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine.

The fire was localized at 19:50 and extinguished at 21:15. The wooden structural elements of the roof (about 300 square meters) and 3 non-operational machines were burned.

Firefighters-rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.
