Fire in a hotel on Armenakyan Street of Yerevan city
On October 6, at 12։07 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in the basement of a hotel on Armenakyan Street of Yerevan city.
Six fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads and the groups on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue and Rescue Forces Departments, the operative group from Crisis Management National Center of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that the fire broke out in the basement of the hotel.
One citizen was taken to a medical center.
The fire was localized at 12:36 and extinguished at 12:53. About 4 cubic meters of carpet in the basement was burnt.
30 citizens were evacuated from the hotel building. The firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the warehouse and kitchen of the hotel.
