On August 6, at 14:02 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that a car had been on fire at the crossroad of M. Babajanyan and Acharyan Streets in Yerevan city: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a gas leak occurred in the trunk area of "Kia" car, resulting in a fire.

Before rescuers arrived at the scene, the fire was extinguished by local forces. The trunk of the car was burned. The driver and five passengers were hospitalized at a medical center.
