On May 4, at 23:16 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car had been on fire in a tunnel on Vanadzor-Stepanavan roadway.

The operative group and two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "Nissan" car had been on fire inside a tunnel near the 18th km of Vanadzor-Stepanavan roadway: there were no casualties.

The fire was localized on May 5 at 00:05 and extinguished at 00:45. The car was burnt.

The traffic flow of the tunnel section of Vanadzor-Stepanavan roadway was restored.
