On October 9, at 12:19 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that fire had broken out on the roof of the barn on the 3rd street of Aghavnadzor village.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that forage was burning on the roof of the barn.

The fire was localized at 13:15 and extinguished at 13:56. About 120 bales of hay were burnt, about 80 bales of hay were damaged, the wooden construction (about 20 square meters) of the roof (40 square meters) was partially burnt and the asbestos slate covering (about 20 square meters) of the roof was partially damaged.
