On April 4, at 10:59 an emergency call was received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA that smoke had been noticed near a supermarket on Svachyan Street of Yerevan city.

Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a fire broke out in the storage area of the supermarket.

The fire was localized at 11:30 and extinguished at 11:38. The wooden constructions, cardboard boxes were burnt and the ceiling (about 3 square meters) was heat-damaged.

The firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading.
