On July 6, at 09։12 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out at a fabric factory on Khmelnitsky Street in Gyumri town of Shirak province.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the third floor of a three-story sewing workshop (about 300 square meters).

The fire was localized at 09:33 and extinguished at 09:46. The furniture accumulated fabric in an area of 15 square meters, the ceiling (about 5 square meters) was damaged were burnt.

The rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading further to other parts of the workshop and the roof.
