Fire emergency call on Chekhov Street in Yerevan
On June 7, at 19:31 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out on the roof of a house on the 1st lane of Chekhov Street of Yerevan city.
Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
"1 BIS" degree of fire complexity was announced: two more fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the duty groups of the Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the Psychological Assistance Department and the Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA left for the scene.
It turned out that the fire broke out on the roofs of houses adjacent to the 1st lane of Chekhov Street.
The fire was localized at 20:13 and extinguished at 20:35. About 50 square meters of the wooden constructions of the roofs of the house (total area about 160 square meters) burned and 60 square meters were damaged.
The spread of the fire to neighboring houses was prevented.
