On January 14, at 10:38 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that smoke had observed from an apartment on the 4th floor of a building on Vorotan Street in Sisian town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that a fire broke out in the bedroom of the apartment.

The fire was localized at 10:48 and extinguished at 11:00. The floor of the bedroom (about 0.5 square meters), a bed and an electric heater were burnt.

A citizen's dead body was found in the bedroom.
