On February 13, at 11։59 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out in a warehouse of a store in a shopping center of Kotayk province.

By "1 BIS" degree of fire complexity five fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad, the duty groups from the Management Divisions for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department, the duty group from of the Psychological Assistance and Medical Care Provision Department and the rescue group from the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that the fire broke out in the storage area (30 square meters) of the chandelier store (total area 600 square meters).

The fire was localized at 14:16 and extinguished at 14:39. The chandeliers, household items and wooden shelves were burnt. The rescuers prevented the fire from spreading to the main part of the store.
