On November 29, at 18:59 information was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that smoke had been noticed between Urasar and Katnaghbyur settlements. 

Two fire units and two operative groups from the Fire and Rescue Squads and operative group of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

On November 30, a large number of rescue forces, eco-patrol service officers, the volunteers from the 'Lore' rescue squad, and residents were involved in firefighting operations.

The fire was localized at 19:30 and extinguished at 19:40. Grassland was burned.
