Fire at the auto service center was extinguished: the rescuers were able to prevent the spread of the fire
The fire that broke out at the car service point was extinguished: the firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading.
On February 27, at 17:27 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that fire had broken out at a car service point on Noragavit 1st Street of Yerevan city.
Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
"1 BIS" fire complexity was announced: two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads, the group on duty from Management Division for Firefighting and Rescue Activities of Yerevan Rescue Department and the operative group from Crisis Management National Center and the group on duty Medical Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA left for the scene.
It turned out that the fire broke out at the gas service and gas cylinder installation point of the car service point.
The fire was localized at 18:36 and extinguished at 18:59.
The gas service and gas cylinder installation point (about 40 square meters), inside “Toyota” minivan and three adjacent rooms (each 25 square meters) were burnt.
The rescuers stopped the gas leak from the storage room, performed cooling activity and prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.
